The Amélia E27 solid brass lamp holder is far more than a simple electrical component. It is an exclusive Starled creation, conceived, designed and developed in our workshops.
Designed as a decorative feature in its own right, it turns the lamp holder into a statement piece for a table lamp, pendant light or bespoke lighting project.
Its extra-large format gives it a distinctive presence. The Amélia lamp holder is not designed to be hidden, but to become an integral part of the luminaire.
It creates a strong visual focal point, combining character, elegance and contemporary craftsmanship.

Customisable brass tones and textures
The Amélia lamp holder is supplied with a raw brass finish, allowing its final appearance to be customised. Light brushing or polishing can soften the patina, highlight raised areas or create a stronger contrast in the surface texture according to the desired result.
Possible brass finishes and colour effects
The following finishes can be achieved through patination or controlled oxidation:
- 🔶 Light brown — diluted brass darkening solution for gentle oxidation
- 🟤 Deep brown / bronze — concentrated brass darkening solution for cold oxidation
- ⚫ Matt black — blackening solution for a stronger oxidation effect
- 🟠 Warm copper tone — light ammonia treatment followed by wiping for a rapid reaction
- 🟡 Reddish bronze — pure ammonia treatment for natural oxidation
- 🟢 Verdigris — ammonia combined with salt or mild acids for gradual oxidation
- ⚙️ Natural satin brass — fine brushing followed by protective wax
By gently brushing and then lightly polishing the raised areas, part of the patina can be removed while remaining within the recessed details. This creates subtle tonal variations that emphasise the texture and relief of the brass.

Product gallery
This image illustrates the two possible lampshade mounting positions: either on the upper threaded ring or approximately 50 mm lower on the base of the lamp holder.
As both threaded sections have the same diameter, the lampshade can be installed at two different heights for improved alignment and a more balanced visual result.
